Fair-Trade Project with Pebblechild
The crochet food-themed doll collection is a partnership between The Wee Bean and Pebblechild, a non-profit organization based in Bangladesh and a member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Through this collaboration, mothers with young children in rural areas of Bangladesh, who face challenges in securing jobs, are empowered with fair trade employment opportunities, wages, and improved working conditions.
Unique Asian-Inspired Prints
Siu Mai doll is approximately 9cm x 8cm. Dim Sum is the most popular form of Cantonese cuisine. These delicious dishes are served in bamboo steamers, traditionally presented out of rolling carts. Eating dim sum is usually a happy and boisterous occasion when family and friends gather to sip tea and eat a variety of dishes that are steamed - recipes that have been mastered over generations. Cute and Easy to Clean ![User picture]()
The Siu Mai rattle is so cute! Our little one has just started grasping toys and loves to grab it with both hands and put it in his mouth. Luckily it’s safe for it to go in the washer so I can easily clean it when needed.
