We're headed back to the West coast for our May Bean of the Month! Baby Ted hails from San Francisco, California and is just 2 months young which means Mama Eva can put whatever cute food-inspired clothes on him she wants! No complaints here though, just look at this adorable little fella! Read on to find out all the great tips Mama Eva has for new moms, as well as more pictures of her cutie baby boy!
TWB:Can you give us a brief intro about your family and where you are from?
My husband and I are both born in San Francisco, CA. Something my husband and I both enjoy doing together is eating and trying out different foods, especially when we travel. Our favourite places to travel outside of the US is Asia, especially Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. We love food stalls and street food! We can't wait to bring Ted along these trips with us in the future so he can be a foodie baby.
TWB: What The Wee Bean items did you buy/get gifted and how do you like our products?
@eats.w.eva: My favourite item from The Wee Bean are the onesies. The design is what caught my attention because I am a huge "foodie", which is why I started an instagram page (@eats.w.eva to highlight places I've eaten at). I love putting Ted in the food onesies, especially since all the food is so close to home and represents my family's Chinese culture and my childhood, i.e. egg tarts, white rabbit candy.
TWB: What items do you recommend for first-time moms?
@eats.w.eva: Some must have items I recommend to 1st time moms (like I am) are: perineal ice packs (to help with recovery), breast shells/pads (to prevent milk from leaking through your shirts), and a rocking chair (to help with feeding and resting for mom and baby).
TWB: What's your favourite activity to do with your baby?
@eats.w.eva: My favourite activity with Ted is at the changing table because that is where he is most comfortable to talk, be silly or poo/pee. All those memories are so special because it's between him and I.
TWB: Best baby-friendly places to go to in your city?
@eats.w.eva: Since Ted is so small, we haven't taken him outside of the house except for Hospital visits. However, if I had to pick a place for our first family outing, I would choose the Japanese Tea Garden because 1) its outdoor / fresh air and 2) it's so pretty.
TWB: What's one tip you have for all the new mommies/daddies out there?
@eats.w.eva: Take all the pictures you want and spend all the time with your baby as possible because they grow up so fast. How they look today will look a bit different tomorrow. Also, no matter if you are a breastfeeding mom, a formula mom, or a pumping mom, your baby doesn't care, they care about YOU and love YOU. You are their supermom!
Thanks again to Baby Ted and Mama Eva for sharing your tips and photos!

Newborns spend most of their day crying, especially during the first few months of life. Understandably so, since crying is your child’s only way to communicate and get you to attend to their needs. While crying is normal, it can be frustrating for most new parents if you can’t get them to stop, let alone understand why they’re upset in the first place.
Our Aug Bean of the Month comes from San Francisco, California! Baby Ella Josefina is 4 months young and looks absolutely precious. Really, these aren't photoshoot pictures...she really is that cute! Thanks to Mama Isabella for sharing these beautiful pictures and all of your recommendations
