Bean Of The Month - November 2021

Say hello to our November Bean of the Month, Baby Teejay!  Mommy Mavis and Daddy Tyson are based in Australia, but Mommy is from HK and misses all the delicious local food! She's able to share her love and nostalgia of HK food with Baby Teejay, even though they are an 8 hour flight away! @ mavyshaw:  Oh where do I begin? The whole Taste of Hong Kong Collection! I can’t even describe my excitement when I first found out about The Wee Bean and I basically just brought everything! The whole collection brings back lots of childhood memories to me and gives me a sense of home while I’m in Australia, and the most important part is how good the quality is, so soft and gentle on my baby!

TWB: What items do you recommend for first-time moms?

@ mavyshaw:  Bibs and swaddles! You never have enough of those! A waterproof change mat coz they tend to do another wee (or poop sometimes as well) the second you take their nappy off and don’t worry about getting those fancy change mat sheets unless you want to do washing everyday.

TWB: What's your favourite activity to do with your baby? 

@ mavyshaw:  I love singing both English and Cantonese lullabies to Teejay!
 

TWB: Best baby-friendly places to go to in your city? 

@ mavyshaw:  We love our local Botanic Garden where we can walk around and have a picnic.

TWB:  What's one tip you have for all the new mommies/daddies out there?
