    We're heading to the East Coast to highlight our February Bean Of The Month!  Baby Saniyya (aka Momo!) just turned 9 months old and she's already a boba fanatic thanks to her Mama!  Very grateful that Saniyya's Mommy loves our swaddles (she collects all the unique designs!) and everything boba!  Read on to find out more about how Mommy and Daddy met and why Saniyya's IG handle is @SocaMasala!

    TWB: Can you give us a brief intro about your family and where you are from?
    @KanaKnows: We live in Brooklyn, NY. Daddy is originally from Bangladesh and Mommy is Black. We were introduced by a mutual friend because we both love Soca. Soca is a music genre from the Caribbean that definitely has a way of bringing people from different cultures and backgrounds together as one. Oh and Mommy is a nurse and doula, so why not have a soca baby!

    TWB: What is your favourite product from The Wee Bean and why?
    @ KanaKnows: Our family (except Daddy) loves boba tea. So every item in the Boba collection. Especially the Boba rattle doll. Momo pretends she’s drinking boba tea with us 😂

    TWB    : What items do you recommend for first-time moms?
    @KanaKnows: A swaddle, actually many many swaddles! That’s how we found The Wee Bean - Mommy had an obsession for collecting unique swaddles. Also anything “smart”, items that make your life easier are worth the investment as a parent and can’t forget - baby carriers since we live in the city.

    TWB: What's your favourite activity to do with your baby? 
    @ KanaKnows:  Sleep (kidding we don’t get any). But when we aren’t sleeping which is 23 hours out of the day, we enjoy daily long walks in the park, weekend trips to the Bronx Zoo, and YouTube dance offs (Momo loves to wiggle and clap).

    TWB: Best baby-friendly places to go to in your city? 
    @ KanaKnows:  With a baby carrier, everywhere is baby-friendly. But we enjoy a lot of baby-friendly restaurants around Park Slope, Brooklyn Museum, and warmer days at Pier 6.

    TWB:  What's one tip you have for all the new mommies/daddies out there?
    @ KanaKnows:  Find a community, whether in person or virtual, enjoy every single moment, and don’t even try to be perfect.
