We head back over to Canada for our February Bean of the Month! Baby Jayden just turned 8 months old and from a look at his outfits, you can tell he and his family are from Toronto (go Blue Jays!). We love their matching photos and you can tell that they are true fans of HK eats, just like we are! Read on to see more of Jayden's awesome matching outfits :)
TWB:Can you give us a brief intro about your family and where you are from?
@dorks_w: Daddy and Mommy are both Canadian born Chinese, we live in Toronto. We love sneakers, DIM SUM, VLT and EGG TARTS!
TWB: What The Wee Bean items did you buy/get gifted and how do you like our products?
@dorks_w: We are so in love with the SUPER soft organic swaddles! It’s very versatile! We also use it as our photoshoot backdrops!
TWB: What items do you recommend for first-time moms?
@dorks_w: My Brest Friend (breastfeeding pillow) really helped me a lot when I was breastfeeding as a first time mom. I think Jayden and I might have relied on it a bit too much :) I really recommend using one!
TWB: What's your favourite activity to do with your baby?
@dorks_w: I love cuddling with him and doing silly things to make him laugh. They grow so fast so trying to spend every second with him before maternity leave ends!
TWB: Best baby-friendly places to go to in your city?
@dorks_w: The most baby-friendly place to go to is HOME :) Just like all the other covid babies, due to the pandemic our only option is to stay at home and occasionally go for walks when it’s not too cold out.
TWB: What's one tip you have for all the new mommies/daddies out there?
@dorks_w: Everyone grows at their own pace, you shouldn’t compare yourself or your baby to others. Always remember that it’s not easy to be a mom and know that you are doing an awesome job!... enjoy motherhood and try not to be so hard on yourself.
