Step into a world filled with magic as we introduce our enchanting June Bean Of The Month - Luna. Born on a captivating full moon night, Luna's name evokes the celestial beauty of the moon itself. She is part of a charming family of four, with her Hong Kong-born mommy, her Italian daddy, and her fur brother Apollo, whose name beautifully complements Luna's, just as the sun complements the moon.
Thank you, Mommy Laura (@lauraminjung), for sharing valuable flight tips and Italy travel adventures! Meet our adorable Bean Of The Month and her delightful family in Italy.

TWB: Where are you from, and can you tell us a little bit more about your family?
@lauraminjung: I am 100% made in Hong Kong! I met my Italian husband in Hong Kong at work. We decided to move back to Italy in 2020 together with our cat. In 2023, we became a happy family of 4.
TWB: What is your favourite product from The Wee Bean and why?
@lauraminjung: Definitely the convertible zip romper! The 2-way zip makes changing diapers so much easier! (Wishing someone would share more lazy mom tips with me!)

TWB: What are your must-have items that you would recommend for first-time moms?
@lauraminjung: It is inevitable to bring my newborn baby back and forth on a 14-hour flight to see my family in Hong Kong. I highly recommend moms who travel often like me to get a rechargeable and portable milk bottle warmer! I used to work as a flight attendant, so I know hot water on the plane is not truly "boiled". With my own warmer, I just need to pour bottled water into the milk bottle, and it will be ready in a few minutes. It's clean, safe, and easy!
"Luna first travelled on a plane when she was almost 2 months old," Laura recalled.
TWB: What is your favourite activity with your baby?
@lauraminjung: I love dressing my daughter whenever we go out, just to find an excuse to make it a day to remember, as well as to take some nice pictures.
Not only am I entertained, but people around my daughter are also amazed to see some of her costumes. The photos taken will be something memorable to look back on when she grows older.
TWB: What are the most baby-friendly places to go in your city?
@lauraminjung: I would say nearly all the places in Rome are baby-friendly as Europeans love babies! No matter where I go, I receive so much help from people in the city. The only thing in Rome that is not quite baby-friendly will be those cobblestone roads in the city centre (ie: around the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc....)
I usually hold my baby instead of putting her in the baby stroller. Otherwise, she will feel an earthquake LOL. (Picture shown - cobblestone road surface around Trevi Fountain)
TWB: After a long day, what’s your favourite way to unwind?
@lauraminjung: I crochet, A LOT. I first started when I discovered the "Fiocco di Nascita". It is a birth bow new parents put on the building entrance in Italian tradition, a way to express the joy of the birth of a new life. However, it is expensive and not that pretty, so I started making my own.

After the Fiocco di Nascita, I also made shoes, beanies, and bags for my daughter. It helped me unload the stress accumulated throughout the day.
TWB: What's your best tip/advice on motherhood?
@lauraminjung: You know what is best for your baby. There's no need to take other's opinions personally. Breastfeeding is not 100% good, and neither is formula milk 100% bad. Only happy moms can raise happy kids. Trust yourself, as you are the best, and you will be your baby's best!
